Magento Page Speed Success

A success story of a  current customer of the Silva Tech Solutions.

The customer sells online boutique clothing in Europe.  The customer was very experienced with SEO and knew they needed to configure their store to be as best optimized for mobile as possible.

That is where Silva Tech Solutions came in.

Our Magento PageSpeed consulting process is two-fold.  We first analyze the entire hosting environment as well as any performance modules that are already installed.  We will then make recommendations to the hosting environment, ranging from additional cache services to Magento plugins that will increase performance.

Per our guide , we then begin the process of developing the critical CSS and tuning our the deferred scripting magento system.  The process varies greatly from each store setup, but the results cannot be denied.

In our first round of performance modifications, we brought most of the pagespeed scores up significantly.  Some of the scores represent special areas of the site that needed some additional fixes (category and homepages, in this instance).  After some modifications to the theme, we were able to get all of the main areas of the site to score with a 99 on mobile.

The scores on the far left show the websites initial score prior to our work.  The “Mobile” column represents the Mobile PageSpeed score.  “PC” represents the Desktop PageSpeed score.  Mobile Time represents the Dom-Load time for the site.  The first round process completed on 2/6/18.  The final round of changes ended on 3/26/18.  As is illustrated, both the PageSpeed and Mobile load times were drastically improved with our consulting.
